Ask Mitt Anything

MittTV has a great series called “Ask Mitt Anything.” It’s quite an insight into what Romney thinks of some of the current issues.

  2. Lucas Says:

Can we ask him where he hides his principles?

  3. Jason Says:

    Lucas,

It does say you can ask him anything.

These videos are a great resource for learning about Romney’s policy views. Romney didn’t dodge anything, and gave talked in good detail on:

    1. national debt & federal budget
    2. immigration
    3. national energy policy
    4. abortion
    5. foreign policy

off topic…but check out this WSJ article:

scroll down to the pics; they accurately state the resume that Thompson brings to the table….Nothing.

Minnesota. . .Kind of a cheep shot don’t ya think? The caption under the picture of the Senator is not a resume, as you call it, but simply just a caption. The long article which accompanies the picture dealt mainly with raising money, not political experience, and in fact calls Senator Thompson a “strong candidate” with a record many conservatives in the party find apealing. There was absolutely nothing in the article you cited that says anything remotely close to the Senator having an empty resume, and I can’t figure out how you deduced that. If you’re going to attack a candidate using supporting news articles, you might want to read the article first.

  7. JayPe Says:

Whatever you say about Mitt, he’s certainly doing everything he can to attract support, including accessability. He’s running a smart campaign, despite his obvious flipping issues.

In fact, of the campaigns so far, you’d have to rate Mitt top of the rest by some distance. Thompson (Fred) has stoked the fires of MSM rumour smartly, and Sam Brownback is playing his ‘under the radar suprise everyone in Iowa’ tactics nicely. But of the rest?
    - Giuliani keeps making unforced errors, which bodes ill for when the attacks heat up
    - McCain is looking lacklustre, and fundraising totals are not good
    - Huckabee has done what exactly?
    - Gilmore & Thompson, etc, who?

Unless the McCain & Giuliani teams pick up the pace and cut down the error rate, they’ll slowly dig themselves into trouble. Romney needs to keep up the pace (& the money) and he should be able to slot into #1 place just in time for the primaries.

I think he is going to surprise some people with his Iowa results..He is a creditable threat to all the top tier’s in Iowa.

  9. lis Says:

Sorry… nobody with the last name of “Brownback”… chuckle… is going anywhere in national politics.

  10. JL Says:

    I disagree with the above..

  11. fredo Says:

    lis

I’m not sure exactly what that was supposed to mean…

    Jake,

Maybe you failed to note that the captions below the pics listed importants details about each person. How is it that the best a supportive article could say was that Thompson was a senator and a succesful actor. The other three men had all kinds of other credentials but Fred didn’t have anything except having been a senator. That isn’t a cheap shot; it is the truth.

  13. jake Says:

Haha Thompson has done nothing “except having been a senator.” No debating that logic.

  14. KT Says:

“Ask Mitt Anything” …and he will answer anything!! :-)
