Look! There! Giuliani is against letting free people use marijuana for medicinal purposes! Are you so-cons happy that you’ve finally got something?

PS — I wasn’t sure where to put this –
Can we PLEASE move Ron Paul up to sixth or seventh place on the Power Rankings?
It needs to be Giuliani/Romney tied for first, Thompson, McCain, Gingrich, Paul, Huckabee, Brownback, T. Thompson, Tancredo, Hunter, Gilmore.
The end.

Wow, Viguerie really went after Fred with a vengeance….

Where do you get off placing Paul above Brownback and Huckabee? At least they both are leading in one state. Paul has not significant support in ANY state – he is an e-fad. Right now, I am happy with the rankings, at least until we find out what Thompson is going to do. Now I’m hearing no announcement until August, and there is still a reasonable expectation that he will slip once (if) he gets in. That is when we will see how the rankings should go.

TLG,
You must be joking, right? Pointing out that an abortion advocate is anti-marijuana is like shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic.

The IAFF is a Hillary/Kerry/Gore backing organization:
http://amerpundit.com/:
“…the IAFF is one of the most active lobbying groups in Washington. Its political action committee, FIREPAC, is among the top 25 of the over 4,000 federal PACs in the nation. FIREPAC has donated over $1,872,105, with 72% going to Democrats. Check out their list of donations in the ‘06 cycle. Let’s see….anyone interesting? Nope….oh, wait. $8,000 in donations to one Mrs. Hillary Clinton. As a matter of fact, in 2006 the IAFF donated more than $179,000 to Democrats…in the Senate alone. In the House, the IAFF donated more than $1,142,455 to Democrats. Just in the Congressional race in 2006, the IAFF donated over $1,321,455 to Democrats.
In 2004, the IAFF officially backed none other than Senator John Kerry for President. In 2000, the IAFF officially backed Former Democratic VP Al Gore for the Presidency. In a Seattle Times article prior to the ‘04 election, the President of IAFF, Harold Schaitberger, admitted that the union never considered endorsing President Bush. Schaitberger has repeatedly attacked Republicans and the Bush administration.
The political leanings of the IAFF is not questionable by any means. Not only is the IAFF Liberal, but it simply can’t seem to get the talking points straight.
The documentary-style video — titled “Rudy Giuliani: Urban Legend†— specifically criticizes Giuliani for failing to ensure that firefighters had working radios; placing the city emergency command center in the World Trade Center even after the 1993 terrorist attack at the Twin Towers; and Giuliani’s decision to abandon efforts to recover remains of dead firefighters as he sought a quick clean-up of Ground Zero.
Really? So, first they’re attacking Giuliani for not taking proper steps to keep the firemen on the ground safe. However, they’re also attacking his decision to pull firemen away from Ground Zero, because it was too dangerous. So, first they say he didn’t do enough to keep them safe, then they go on to say he pulled them away, citing safety concerns. They should really get together and decide exactly how to proceed with their attack ads.â€
