fight for the top spot is very close

This poll was taken about a week too early – the next debate is in Michigan, and I would not be supprised if the race has changed quite a bit after that.

Just noticed – another state where “none of the above” leads

no opinion with 21% – WOW! ACT is right – they should poll after the debate

Wow, how tight is that at the top! This could be very competitive, although a few Romney ads saying “when my father was Governor of Michigan he taught me that” would probably help push his numbers up a bit. There’ll be a few who will support a perceived “home son”. No Michigan home son has become President since Ford.
Who’s the best fit for the state do you think?

we will have to see what voters say after the debate. Anyone here going?

ACT,
Is there any reason to think that Michiganers will be watching at any higher rate than the rest of America, just because the debate is in their state?
I dunno. I’m asking.

Its something to do with the idea that people will watch something that is happening closer to home.

I don’t think there will be a tremendous “Michigan effect” in terms of the number of people watching, but the debate should probably get somewhat higher ratings in Michigan, because the local media will give more publicity to the debate than if it were held elsewhere.

This state resembles most of the country for the republicans in my opinion. i think the race really is wide open. each candidate likes to pretend they are a frontrunner but in reality the support is still up in the air. it is anybodys nomination at this point.
i would say in reality though, those with a real shot or fdt, romney, and giuliani. the rest, i think are real long shots.
