Yeah, and a big thanks to Rep. King for screwing any chance the GOP had of having a nominee before Super Tuesday. Now it looks like we will be locked in [at least] a two-man fight until mid-Feb.
I like Fred, and he will make a perfect running mate for Mitt. I really don’t think Fred wants to be president. I don’t think he can campaign hard enough to beat the dems in the general. I am just guessing, but I think that there is an alliance between Mitt and Fred, just like there is between Rudy and Huck.

Checked it out, your right there is a non story there. This is more speculation that fact.
The facts are in his voting record. And his record is anti abortion.
Fred’s just getting started. He has still been endorsed by less than 10 state pro-life organizations, which means that we have more than 40 of these threads to go.

Fred is cleaning up on the pro-life committee endorsements. That must sting Huck.

King is a man of principle, something Rudy, Mitt and Huck supporters wouldn’t understand.

“King is a man of principle, something Rudy, Mitt and Huck supporters wouldn’t understand.”
Oh I forgot how principled Thompson was, after taking a legal assignment supporting a rabid pro-abortion group when he supposedly was pro-life.
Yeah, that is a real principled thing to do.

You have any facts to back that up?

“The facts are in his voting record. And his record is anti abortion.”
Those are the facts, yes, Fred opposes abortion (or at least he votes that way). So why did he accept a job for a pro-abortion group?
My problem isn’t with Thompson’s positions, its with you saying Fred is principled and Romeny isn’t.

The Fred Express is rolling along faster. He’s picked up quickly and I think we’re going to see some dramatic shifts in the next couple of weeks.
