Well, this is discouraging. But, if Romney wins California, he’ll probably be able to stay in the race irrespective of what happens in Missouri. Whether he’d want to is a decidedly different question. But, he’d probably have enough credibility.
It would help Romney a lot if Huckabee could somehow
beat McCain here. If McCain wins here Romney would need both
CA and GA just to claim any type of momentum whatsoever to carry
on.
Huckabee is only winning his homestate and says he won’t drop out. I don’t know where these rules come from that Romney has to win California or must drop out. I remember he was supposed to drop out after New Hampshire but he’s still here.
Mitt has to win CA and stay in this race. Huck will/should drop out soon thus leaving us a true two man race. I can’t wait to see Romney and McCain debate one on one. McCain will be so irratated if Romney doesn’t back out and he is forced to continue fighting Romney for the nomination, if this is the case, I predict that McCain will literally explode in one of these debates. Get ready to see an ugly side of the old man. I predict we will see a few
surprise results tonight, Maybe GA goes to Mitt as well as CA.
I hope this poll is inaccurate because I don’t know of anything that would have caused a late McCain surge in the state. I don’t personally know anybody who’s changed their mind in the last couple of days. I’ll post after I vote if I notice anything worthy of comment.
Why would Mac even accept another debate with Mitt. He will be crushing him with delegates and has no reason to debate him again since it could only hurt him.
I just voted for Romney in CA. I am wondering why I was not required to have a photo ID to vote? All I had to do was say my name and give my address and they handed me the papers. What’s to keep me from finding out that my neighbor is not voting and go down on another voting shift and give HIS name and address? There NEEDS to be a picture ID required to vote!!!

Supposed to be bad weather in Missouri today. I’m not sure who, if anyone that helps.
I doubt if Mitt can pull this one out, but I hope I’m wrong.

There’s no McCain surge. He went down by one point. A Rasmussen poll from Saturday has all three within the 4% MOE.
