The Following Takes Place Between 7 pm and 11 pm on the Day of the California Presidential Primary

I’ve been waiting to use that title the entire primary season…

Here are the poll closing times for tonight, so you know when to expect returns to come in. All times are EST, so adjust accordingly for your time zone:

7:00 — Georgia
8:00 — Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Tennessee
8:30 — Arkansas
9:00 — Arizona, New York
10:00 — Montana, Utah
11:00 — California

States holding caucuses with no specific ending time: Alaska, Colorado, Minnesota, North Dakota, West Virginia

Jack Bauer for President, baby.

Nice one Matt. Good luck tonight, Mitt, and all Mitt supporters.

  2. Argamenon Says:

Now with Rush Limbaugh supporting Hillary over McCain the spin that McCain is the most electable is out the window. The man speaks for millions of GOP voters.

  3. UA Says:

I just got home from voting. I also did the exit poll after I voted.

  4. fran Says:

Sorry Jack Bauer is Canadian and was born in London, UK.

    Unfortunately he is ineligible.

I also think he would have a hard time running with his DUI convictions:

UA - were you honest in your exit poll, or did you have a little fun with the pollsters?

Ambinder is reporting that WV could report as early as 1230 - 18 delegates WTA.

  9. MarkG Says:

PJM is covering today’s festivities in several of the states today using local correspondents. Our WV guy, Don Surber, reports that the state’s GOP caucus should produce results by the early afternoon.

Mitt has the most committed (committable? ;-) ) delegates going in. He, Huck, and Ron Paul are putting in cameos in the hopes of rasslin’ up an early win today.

    BEWARE…………….

    The RETURN…………………..

    (I still believe)

  11. econ grad stud Says:

There are 4 primaries occurring today within 60 miles of my location (Illinois, Missouri, Tennessee, Arkansas).

I’ve noticed Huckabee has been making a strong play for Tennessee and Missouri. Romney’s been making a strong play for Missouri and Illinois. McCain’s been playing hardest in Tennessee.

I was honest. I did not even think about messing with the pollsters, damn. Guiliani was still on the exit poll.
