The first interview back.
I saw little of Fred’s supposed “charisma” and “gravitas” during the first 75% of the campaign, but he absolutely oozes it in this interview. He seems incredibly comfortable. I’ve reconciled myself to McCain, but I’m getting a Fred! nostalgia here.

Amen and Amen to what Fred says between 8:42 and the end. There were a lot of things I disagreed with Fred on (mainly foreign policy), but he and Rudy were the only ones that had a shot at convincing me to vote for them post-Ron Paul. This interview reminds me why I would have much rather seen a nominee Fred than a nominee McCain.

Fred would be great in the debates if he were McCain’s Veep. The only problem is he might be lazy the rest of the time.

Mr. Thompson is almost a perfect Conservative and I hope that many of his idea will one day be promoted.
