Hillary Does the O’Reilly Factor

The Hillary Clinton-Bill O’Reilly interview that has been 16 years in the making is finally upon us. It’s being aired in 4 parts spread over tonight and tomorrow. Here is part 1:

Here is part 2:

I was really impressed with Hillary in this interview, I have to say. She held her own and I think she even earned a bit of respect from O’Reilly from it.  She’s clearly gunning for the conservative Democrats, independents and moderate Republicans that watch the Factor.

    God Bless the Rich!!! LOL!

  2. E Dogg Says:

Hillary is a lot better in casual sit-downs. She hit one out of the park. No question.

  3. Adam Says:

Imagine if Obama had those questions fired his way so quickly. He’d shrivel up into a little ball and cry. Obama is nowhere near as quick on his feet as Hillary. No question that he is the one we want to run against in the general election.

  4. E Dogg Says:

Yeah, what Adam said! Obama would be too busy massaging his words and interjecting random, plentiful uh’s. Who knew Hillary could engage in an interview like this?! Certainly not me!

  5. Brian Says:

I can’t believe I was so impressed with Hillary personally. Bill was tough but fair with her.

Since the democrats took over control of Congress, gas prices have gone from avg. $2.26 per gallon to avg. $3.66 per gal. and food riots have started around the world. democrats continue to support converting food into fuel while resisting extracting the oil that exists in this country. Under Colorado, Utah and Wyoming exists the “Green River Formation.” Roughly 1.5 trillion barrels of oil are available - some 800 billion is estimated recoverable. That is 4 times the amount of oil known to be left in Saudi Arabia. And yet 400 years worth of oil in this country sits, untouched. Our focus should be on extracting the oil from the shale and cutting ourselves off from the folks who hate us so. Build more nuclear generation and forget about the greenie-weenie blowing in the wind stuff.

I’ve always liked Hillary Clinton personally, and politically she’s not as disastrous as some Democrats. If you listen to her rationalization of her health care plan, it’s remarkably similar to Romney’s rationalizations of his- largely because the plans themselves are awfully similar. It’s a rationalization that I’ve largely accepted in theory (those with money shouldn’t be paying for expensive emergency care of the poor), but which I think has shown itself to be a failure in practice. All-in-all though, I think she did terrifically there.

I was impressed by her knowledge - of the issues, of history. She could talk about tax rates in the 60’s, what Nixon did, what Reagan did, oil, healthcare, the economy. No question she know her stuff. And she isn’t afraid of anything.

By contrast Obama looks and sounds like an empty suit, who hangs around with unpatriotic left wing nuts. Republicans really do want to run against him, no question.

I am in shock. ALthough I want Barack to win because I think Mac can beat him, Hillary’s done a lot to impress me lately. She went on the Factor… Good grief. O’Reilly has been absolutely vicious towards her in the past.

  11. Tommy Oliver Says:

Actually, Obama’s been on the factor and has promised to go back on before the campaign is over.
