That will be perfect. The narrative then becomes that those folks are all bitter racists. Then the DNC gets to make the choice we’ve all been waiting for, alienate white women and working class whites, or alienate AA voters. Good luck with that.
Because not so very long ago, like 1996, it was a swing state. And because Hillary polls well there for the general. And because the fact that Obama is getting 11% of the vote among the poor whites there is a symptom of the problem he’s having with poor whites everywhere. And because it helps her get to a majority of the popular vote.

Eastern Kentucky is the poorest whitest place (besides maybe WV).
The typical county is 95-99% white and has a 20-40% poverty rate.
