Well, well, well…

The Ron Paul Cult never really dies. It just sleeps…and waits. And will purchase anything bearing its leader’s name.

Here you have it:

Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul’s newest book, “The Revolution: A Manifesto,” is number one on the New York Times Best Sellers list for May 18th, 2008. The ranking is yet another of the many successes Dr. Paul has had during his presidential candidacy spreading his message of personal freedom and constitutional government.Upon its official release on April 30th, “The Revolution: A Manifesto” was the number one bestseller on Amazon.com and remains the number one bestseller in political books.

Well, then! Congratulations, Congressman Paul.

The title sounds like something Marx or Lenin would have written.

I love it! What a great title! It sounds so…militant. I suppose it makes sense. His ideas are principles taken to an extreme. For a true believer of his, it has that perfect purist ring to it.

Describing Ron Paul’s organization as a Cult is entirely accurate. I was a top member of the Ron Paul Cult for 12 years. I served as his Personal Aide in his 1988 Libertarian Presidential big, his Campaign Coordinator in his first run for Congress in 1995/96, and as his Senior Congressional Aide from 1997-2003.

When you leave the Cult you get excommunicated. The other Cultists savagely bash you and call you everything in the book. Even Cult leader Ron Paul will take a swipe or two.
The amount of brainwashing and glory be to Paul chants that go on within his organization is astounding. You’re expected to toe the line 100% on every word that comes out of Paul’s mouth. And don’t you dare question the Authority.

I managed to escape the Cult in 2003. Cult leader Paul and I had severe differences over the Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. He staunchly opposed both Wars: I was staunchly in favor and supported our Troops. One day I stormed out of the office over his remarks critical of the Military, never to return.

I’m thankful to have escaped. But I’m here to report that when you meet a Paul supporter and see that glossy look in their eyes, it’s all for real. They have indeed been brainwashed into believint the “Church of Isolationism and Anti-Americanism.”

It’s all for real, and quite scary indeed.

“…Cult leader Paul and I had severe differences over the Wars…”

Well…ever think that he just might’ve been correct and you were not ?

You’re just full of Sour Grapes when you realized that you weren’t going to be the Star of The Show.

Congressman Paul is Absolutely Correct about this so-called War.
…and I dare you to find a Soul that is more supportive of our troops than I !!!!!!!!
My only problem is with those that control those troops — they’re idiots from the ground up and a foot deep ! !!

Ron Paul types are doing their best to get control of 5 state delegations so they can present Paul’s name from the floor at the national convention. They’ll likely wind up with control of the Nevada delegation (although they disrupted their convention so much they couldn’t elect delegates before getting kicked out of their convention center), and they’re making a strong play for Washington. They also are going to be working at taking over PCO positions and local parties. Be aware of this, or none of us will recognize our party a year from now.
