It does not appear that Arkansas is a swing state anymore like some pundits were trying to tell us.

It might of been if the Dems would have nominated their centrist candidate.
Since they did not, Arkansas, West Virginia and probably Ohio are now in the GOP column. I still am not buying that Colorado or Virginia will turn blue.
If the congressional bloodbath is going to happen, maybe voters will split their ticket and vote for McCain.

The same poll has Hillary Clinton beating John McCain in Arkansas by double digits. This is another good reason they are nominating Obama. Put six electoral votes in the solid McCain column.

If Arkansas voters oppose an increase in the capital gains tax, you can imagine how the rest of the country feels. They probably have a lower percentage of investors than the average state.

Hillary would win Arkansas. The Dems are so stupid - well, better clarify….the elitist Dem leadership - Dean , Pelosi, Kerry, Kennedy, Brazile…is dumb as a stone.
There are lots of Dems who are saying “Wha?……..? “I’m not voting for Obama!” They are the McCain voters.

Why is this news? We’ve known that Obama was not competitive in Arkansas for a long time now…

Yes VA looks safer now. I wonder say this about these southern states. In almost all of them polls so McCain beating Obama by bigger marigns than Bush beat Kerry. I think on election day due to AA turn out it will be back down to the Bush vs. Kerry marigan. So this is what Rev White is done is counter AA turnout down there.
