Wow, Romney’s a DRAG on the ticket in Massachusetts.
June 3rd, 2008 at 11:42 am
Oh - SUSA is worth nothing more than a pile of excrement. McCain is down 9 in Ohio and 5 in Mass.?
Yeah. Ok.
June 3rd, 2008 at 11:48 am
that’s great to see that huckabee is mccain’s best running mate against everybody, except for against edwards, in which case lieberman is the best.
June 3rd, 2008 at 12:03 pm
Ummmm…I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but 30% of MA registered voters aren’t Republican. More like 13%.
Seriously, where is SUSA getting these samples from?

By the way the Second round of Veepstake voting is up at MSNBC

Could it be 30% call themself republicans but are not registered to vote that way.
June 3rd, 2008 at 12:12 pm
#4 makes #1 even more notable.
June 3rd, 2008 at 12:20 pm
DaveG, what are you talking about? They are all within the margin of error of each other.
June 3rd, 2008 at 12:29 pm
um…the above poll is the MN poll.
June 3rd, 2008 at 12:38 pm
IR-MN,
The link goes to the MN poll, but if check the SUSA homepage this is in fact the MA poll. They have a MN poll up, though.
June 3rd, 2008 at 12:40 pm
Breaking: AP reports Obama has just clinched the necessary number of delegates.
June 3rd, 2008 at 12:42 pm
I am not a fan of Huckabee, but almost every poll pushed McCain ahead with Huckabee on the ticket. Go figure.
June 3rd, 2008 at 12:47 pm
These survey usa polls have Minnestoa and Wisconsin as more Republican than Ohio and Missouri…
They’re completely worthless in my view.
June 3rd, 2008 at 1:01 pm
I’m predicting Hillary will win both states tonight, but Obama will clinch. Very embarrassing for Obama.
June 3rd, 2008 at 1:06 pm
The one thing that is consistent with all these polls is the best VP choice for Obama is Edwards.
“Forever the bride’s maid but never the bride.”
June 3rd, 2008 at 1:13 pm
Are we being naive or optimistic in assuming that Obama/Clinton will absolutely not happen?
June 3rd, 2008 at 1:15 pm
by the way the Suvery USA poll from NM has Wilson with in 1 of Pence and all the undecides the last few days are breaking her way big time.
June 3rd, 2008 at 1:31 pm
Why is there a 5 point swing between McCain/Huck and McCain/Romney against Obama/Sebelius?
What is the variable here?
June 3rd, 2008 at 4:47 pm
These surveys make it seem as though Obama’s only choices are Edwards (someone who should be nationally known by now after running two primary campaigns for president and being a vice presidential nominee), Rendell and Sebelius (two governors who are far from household names nationwide), and Hagel (a Republican). With those as the only VP choices, Edwards should darn well stand out in these polls. Of course, if they replaced Hagel or Sebelius in this poll with, say, Hillary Clinton, I think that Edwards’ appeal as a running mate would fade.
June 3rd, 2008 at 5:40 pm
Dave, what the $%#@ are you talking about? Romney brings additional support against two picks, does virtually nothing against one, and, like every other candidate, gets smoked by and Obama/Edwards ticket.
June 3rd, 2008 at 8:21 pm
The bottom line is that Mr. Romney does not do as well in MA as Mr. Huckabee does. Mr. Romney does hold his own in most of these state polls, but Mr. Huckabee tends to do a little better. In a way, I am surpised that they both are doing as well as they are.
June 3rd, 2008 at 8:22 pm
Should be surprised.
June 3rd, 2008 at 8:23 pm
HUCKABEE again!
June 3rd, 2008 at 8:25 pm
HUCKABEE again! In Massachusetts! Take that Romneybots.
With Hillary as VP… Huckebee will be needed to keep good ol Arkansas.
June 3rd, 2008 at 11:35 pm
Huckabee beats Romney in Massachusetts!!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!

#22,#23,#24
And you think he would actual bring Mass into play? Well, on the other hand he is fairly liberal.
