   That’s why Romney won’t be on the ticket.

   The election will be fought on the economy and Mitt flat out said McCain doesn’t have a clue about same.

   End of story.

   ps shows the moral character of Mitt to have said that knowing that it would put him off the VP list.

   2, Heath. Romney made companies money by eliminating unnecessary jobs. He won states by promising to throw billions of taxpayer dollars into keeping irrelevant jobs. Simply put, slick Willard lacked the courage to implement his business philosophy into politics. That’s why McCain clobbered him among voters who thought the economy was the most important issue. That’s why McCain clobbered him among people who thought it was more important to reduce the deficit than reducing taxes.

   Actually, McCain himself, stated clearly that he didn’t know much about the economy. Picking Mitt would be able to balance his acknowledge weakness. I believe we will have a huge leg up on electability if he adds Mitt and stresses Mitt will be heavily involved in economic and energy policy.

   I remember Mitt saying that McCain would need a VP to help him with the economy and that he certainly wasn’t going to be that person!
