Drudge is reporting a 6 PM leak of the veep choice, with possible confirmation by 8 PM. Not sure if that’s just another rabbit trail, but yes, it got our attention.
My brother-in-law who makes less than $50,000 a year owns 3: his main residence and two rental properties. I guess he’s too
industrious and financially savvy for the world of politics.
ILguy-
better said that name WILL leak at 6pm Est for the flash on the east coast news and then WILL be confirmed at 8 EST to steal a little of the Barackopolis thunder.
No one holds the politics of envy and class warfare in more contempt than me. I am an unapologetic capitalist and exult in Mitt Romney’s business acumen and success.
But you can’t tell me with a straight face that owning multiple homes is an asset in this toxic environment.
My wife and I make a little less than $90,000 per year hoe does McCain and Willard relate to peaple like me?
Husain does nothing for me either I wish we had a 3rd option which is None of the above!!!
Because I would vote for None of the Above.
Looks like it is either Bob Barr or Chuck Baldwin for me unless Mcain picks a Pro-Life runningmate.
The whole house issue is ludicrous. There are extremely wealthy people from both parties. I personally would prefer someone with wealth because it shows they’re successful.
It’s not the success that should matter, it’s the competency. Paris Hilton had success by some measurements, though I don’t want her change. Though her energy plan is still better than Obama’s…
The defining question of our time. No longer interested in competence, experience or ideas, the MSM , and its multiple minions of misinformation
( MMM ) have now defined homes owned as the pass / fail criteria for choosing a President and Vice president of the largest country in the world. Homes leased or once owned do not count. Hovels may qualify and estates over $ 3 Million count twice. If a relative is living in one, it counts as 1/2. If it is usually empty, it counts double. If YOU live in one of the homes you own, it doesn’t count….only extra homes count. Official rules are available from Keith Olberman at MSNBC
We Need A Revolution in this Country!!! Ron Paul , Mikle Huckabee supporters bolt the Neo Con party and join the Constitution or Libertarian parties.
Christians Wake Up the GOP has abandoned us they sold us out!!!!
We need a 3rd party!!!NO Willard!!!!
I’m not sure what bugs me more. Rombots who refuse to acknowledge his obvious flaws in a down economy election, or “Christians” who think that electing a Mormon (or a non-Christian) would cause the world to end.
Not speaking about any VP prospect in particular but according to Jerry if you have more than one house you can’t have the same values, ideas, principles, integrity etc.
#34 - “Rombots who refuse to acknowledge his obvious flaws in a down economy election”. Romney is the best candidate for these economic times. The federal government has control over the largest and strongest free market economy in the world - as long as we are still running a capitalist economy, I want the smartest guy, who understands capitalism and has proven ability to demonstrate he knows what he is doing, to run the federal government - that would be Mitt Romney - God bless him (and He obviously has) for having legally obtained the means through his hard work, education and entrepreneurial endeavors to afford four homes - the property tax alone that he pays annually on the newest home he purchased just down the road from me in San Diego is enough to pay the annual salary for two more teachers in the San Diego public school system - and his kids don’t even use the San Diego Public School system.
I get why someone might feel like calling someone Hussein would be an insult. What I don’t get is why calling someone Willard when it is part of his name is an insult.

Houses will not be a problem at all. It represents success, and it can be used to our advantage.

Dooley noted:
I’ll make sure never to enter politics should I ever own more than one home.
August 28th, 2008 at 10:12 am
I hope that it is him because how many homes does Williard have???
August 28th, 2008 at 10:13 am
The real question is how many Tvs each candidate has in their house(s). We all know not everyone can afford a television!
August 28th, 2008 at 10:13 am
jerry- willard has less than mccain and 1 more than obama and 1 less than kerry
August 28th, 2008 at 10:13 am

I heard Romney was really successful and bought houses!!!
That makes me sick.
He should share his wealth with me, even though he worked 10 times harder than me to obtain it.
August 28th, 2008 at 10:17 am
I bet you Willard has a couple of temples as well as Obama.
Who is more aragant Willard or Husain?
