Poll Watch: Alaska Loves Gov. Palin!

And not just “loves”… they freakin’ go nuts over her, as a new poll shows:

American Viewpoint Alaska General Election Poll

  • Favorable/Unfavorable – 86/10
  • Strongly Favorable – 63%
  • Approval Among Republicans – 97%
  • approval Among Democrats – 75%

  • Obama/Biden – 18%

Is Palin less qualified, as qualified, or more qualified than Barack Obama?

  • More qualified – 30%
  • As qualified – 29%
  • Less qualified – 30%

  • More likely – 56% (much more likely – 44%)

Alaskans, the folks who know Sarah best, absolutely love her like no politician I’ve ever seen. That should tell you something. Oh, and we finally get to stop calling Alaska a battleground state.

i wonder how much money Barry spent on Alaska…i’m sure it was more than the average dem pres candidate

  2. JerryO Says:

nothing like the people who know her best! (as opposed to anyone just posting ‘facts’ to support their current viewpoint.)

  3. JK Says:

glad we don’t have to worry about Alaska anymore!

  4. JA Pruce Says:

I really think that Governor Palin is going to cause McCain to win in a landslide this year. America is falling in love with Sarah and she has the possibility of not only attracting Hillary’s PUMA voters but also Hispanics and women of color. Despite the negativity of the media, kudos to the McCain camp for a stellar rollout. Remember folks, I told you a month ago that my sources were talking about a “slow” rather than a “fast” VP rollout. Some of you questioned what that was. Well here it is and it is all going as planned and the Democrats are freaking out and wetting their pants.

#1, you could not turn on a channel without seeing an ad.

  6. Au standard Says:

    perfect

  7. Braden Says:

Doesn’t matter. If Alex doesn’t like Palin, nobody should like Palin. I’m just saying.

  8. JerryO Says:

    maybe some of why they love her – from The Corner;

    Palin’s Administrative Actions [Jonathan Adler]

Anchor Rising has an interesting rundown of some of the administrative orders Sarah Palin issued as governor. Combined with her work on fiscal issues, it seems like an impressive list for someone who’s not supposed to have much in the way of experience or accomplishments

  9. Tim Oakes Says:

YEAH! Put another one in the R-E-D column, suckahs!

  10. MWS Says:

Does any other statewide politician in the country enjoy a +76 favorable rating?

    Anything CLOSE?

Of course, I guess that’s just because Alaskans are just a bunch of stupid rubes, right?

Everyday, there is something new to like about Palin.

  11. EricB Says:

That is amazing that Palin could shift Alaska that far to John McCain just by being the Vice President. I’m too young to remember when Reagan was president, so I have a short life experience here, but this is the most excitement I’ve ever seen for a politician and it’s the most hate I’ve ever seen coming from the other side. Admitted they hate Bush even more, but they didn’t hate him this much when he was running 8 years ago as they hate her now. It’s amazing to watch.

  12. FredsFighter Says:

Doesn’t Alaska also love Ted Stevens?

    …just sayin’

  13. AdrianS Says:

In the interest of public service, and for the benefit of the citizens of America (Republicans, Democrats and Independents); I now show you, for the sake of clarity, the maximum amount of executive experience Mr. Barack Hussein Obama possesses:

    .

There it is. If you can see the period above; that’s it! Obama’s total executive experience fits comfortably on that period with room to spare.

The joke is on Obama and the radical left wing communist democrats.

I only regret that I could not show Biden’s executive experience; you’d need a magnifying glass or microscope.

    Have a great day.

  14. bk Says:

they (the marxists, democrats, media shills, feminist sociopaths and anti-american crowd) hate this woman because she is REAL

she is not a second-wave feminazi but an authentic, grown-up woman who has achieved much in life – without getting into the sewer a la shillary

    game over

The Candidates
