Running against the Congress is finally feasible with Palin on the ticket. Not only is our ticket more legitimately “outside” of Congress, but it’s a Democratic Congress. And I don’t see why it’s so hard to remind folks that the economic troubles have started in the last two years and, coincidentally, the Democrats have been in charge for the last two years. Unemployment was 5.0% at the end of 2006, it’s 6.1% now. It’s not like Bush has vetoed so many bills that Dems can say “well, we tried, but couldn’t accomplish anything”. He’s vetoed 11 bills total. Out of hundreds.
