We are in deep sh*t for picking McCain as out nominee. The blame is squarely on us. This is not the time for a war hero who’s been in Washington 24 years screwing sh*t up. It’s not the time for Obama either. It’s loose loose situation.
MWS – Battleground doesn’t poll on weekends, which is apparently theyre considered to have a Republican lean. But you’re right, they have been all over the shop
Frankly, I don’t have an opinion one way or the other on “biased” polls but I note two things about Battleground: (i) Last week when it had McCain ahead, most bloggers were touting its precision in 2004; (ii) quite correctly as touted last week, it precisely nailed the 2004 outcome. None of that, of course, has any bearing on their preciseness this year — I notice that pollsters take turns on being election stars.
I’m not all that familiar with Battleground, other than they’ve been out there on their own a fair amount this year. I’m far more familiar with Galliup and Rasmussen, and trust them. Interestingly, at this point, Battleground is more or less in line with those two.
To the people who think McCain is a bad choice, if Republicans had chosen any other Republican, you would have lost well before than person was even nominated. Romney, Huckabee, Giuliani, Thompson? Are you kidding me?
Like it was posted on here before, IF Carl Rove thinks that McCain is losing right now and losing the Battele Ground states by a good clip, then he is.
I think we all better hope trooper gate is thrown out by the Alaska Supreme Court, if it is not the sh*t is deeper, stinkier and bigger than ever before

Why are the polling dates the 1,2,5,6? What happened to the 3rd and the 4th. That’s odd.
Oz,
I don’t think there is a bias in the poll one way or another. Battleground is a consistent outlier I think. They’ve been all over the place.
