Colorado voters support 63 – 21 percent a state constitutional amendment outlawing discrimination or preferential treatment in public employment, contracting or education.

“They key to winning elections in Colorado is independent voters and Sen. Obama has blown open the race there with his 11-point lead among them. These same voters say 3-1 that the Democrat won the last debate, which drives one more nail into McCain’s coffin,” Brown said.

  1. Big S Says:

Sarah Palin has Hillaryesque fav./unfav. ratings in the Colorado. Let that sink in for a second.

  2. AmericanIdeals Says:

    Told you Palin is poison.

  3. MetroIndependent Says:

Big S, I think we can agree she was picked too early, and that may have ruined her forever.

If she had had 4 more years to study national issues, she might’ve been the next Reagan. Especially minus some of the populism this campaign has forced her into.

She has incredible natural political abilities.

  4. mcon Says:

Key point: Palin drags the ticket down. Why? Because people in general feel she isn’t qualified. They feel McCain passed over a number of other candidates to pick up the women vote. People aren’t totally stupid and when the MSM drives this narrative you can see how it spreads. And this is in the WEST where she would supposedly be stronger. Idiocy. Oh and McCain is getting killed in the debates because he simply isn’t winning against Obama.

  5. JayPe Says:

The problem for McCain is that he probably can’t afford to lose CO (unless he wins PA, which isn’t looking likely). And Palin has ruined him here.

People are tuned in, and after the initial excitement the indies don’t like what they infer from the unready Palin pick.

The Candidates
