Huck Confronts Obama Supreme Court Appointment

Huck:

The appointment of  Sonia Sotomayor for the Supreme Court is the clearest  indication yet that President Obama’s campaign promises to be a centrist and think in a bi-partisan way were mere rhetoric. Sotomayor comes from the far left and will likely leave us with something akin to the “Extreme Court” that could mark a major shift. The notion that appellate court decisions are to be interpreted by the “feelings” of the judge is a direct affront of the basic premise of our judicial system that is supposed to apply the law without personal emotion. If she is confirmed, then we need to take the blindfold off Lady Justice.

  2. Bryan Says:

Well let’s not forget that this will not shift the court, it just replaces a Liberal with a Liberal so it’s pretty much a wash no matter how you look at, she will get confirmed so there’s really no big deal in putting up a fuss over it.

  3. Jerry Withrow Says:

We need to listen to Rush Limbaugh on this and confrount the Obama administration and confirm the extreamnist he is we might not have the votes to stop it but we can confrount it and expose this administration as the Socialist’s they are. We need to try to stop this appointment!!!

  4. asparagus Says:

Huck should know all about elevating feelings over rational thought considering his record of pardoning hardened criminals.

    Well said Jerry Withrow.

  6. Bryan Says:

Is Rush Limbaugh the leader of the Republican Party? Give me a freakin break the man has a disapproval of about 70%! Yea let’s listen to Rush and alienate more women and hispanics by opposing this woman.

  7. JA Pruce Says:

It will be interesting to hear Rush’s analysis and the GOP might be wise to adopt his talking points. I also await to hear from Speaker Gingrich, he will probably be out in front on this one.

  8. GetReal Says:

6 – Yes, because according to you all women and all hispanics must be so self-absorbed as to think “Oh, they don’t want that radical liberal who legislates based on personal preference rather than ruling on what’s written in the constitution to be on the Supreme Court for the rest of her life. But…she’s a woman, like me! That means they don’t like me! (or substitute hispanic for woman.)
