  • Disapprove 47% (43%)

Suppose Governor Tim Pawlenty runs for President in 2012 and wins the Republican nomination. If Pawlenty was the Republican Presidential candidate, would you vote for him?

  • Yes 42%
  • No 46%

How would you rate the job Al Franken has been doing as Senator?

  • Strongly approve 24%
  • Somewhat approve 26%
  • Somewhat disapprove 16%
  • Strongly disapprove 29%

How would you rate the job Amy Klobucher has been doing as Senator?

  • Strongly approve 36%
  • Somewhat approve 22%
  • Somewhat disapprove 17%
  • Strongly disapprove 21%

How would you rate the job Michele Bachmann has been doing as Congresswoman?

  • Strongly approve 28%
  • Somewhat approve 23%
  • Somewhat disapprove 12%
  • Strongly disapprove 33%

Survey of 1,000 Likely Voters was conducted November 10. The margin of error is +/- 3 percentage points. Results from the poll conducted September 15 are in parentheses.

Inside the numbers:

While 69% of Democrats in the state Strongly Approve of the job Klobuchar is doing, just 51% say the same of Franken.

Fifty-four percent (54%) of Republicans statewide Strongly Approve of Bachmann’s job performance.

Among voters not affiliated with either major party, 31% Strongly Approve of Klobuchar’s handling of her job, while 14% Strongly Disapprove.

For Franken and Bachmann, the numbers are reversed. Seventeen percent (17%) of unaffiliateds Strongly Approve of Franken’s job performance, but 26% Strongly Disapprove. Bachmann’s performance is Strongly Approved by 21% but Strongly Disapproved by 37%.

    Pawlenty not being able to beat Obama in his own state tells us something. Mitt may not carry Mass. either, but Minnesota is no MAss.
