I wish you all the happiness you can have this Thanksgiving, and the strength to transcend that which you can’t have.

  2. David R. Schmidt Says:

    These are ugly for Obama.

  3. Kristofer Lorelli Says:

    Happy thanksgiving, David. ;)

  4. Sarabee in '12 Says:

Mitt Romney is a good man.

    But not for President.

We need greatness at this time in our history.

Sarah Palin or Mike Huckabee, one or both.

    :)

  5. JA Pruce Says:

Lowest approvals of any sitting President.

  6. Right Says:

Bush’s approval ratings dipped into the 20’s, breaking even Carter’s lousy ratings record. That said, he also had the highest in the 90’s after 9/11. To the subject at hand though, approval ratings now are not indicative of reelection chances. Come back in two years when the challengers are lined up and we’re within a year of the 2012 election.

  9. Tommy Boy Says:

Obama’s numbers in NY, CA, WA, and OR are still okay because much of his disapproval comes from liberals and Democrats that would vote for him in a general election against the Republican.

He should be worried about Virginia and Missouri.

  10. It’s Not Just The South | Conservative Cabbie Says:

[...] in strong blue states, his support is edging towards, or at parity with disapproval. SurveyUSA via race42008: Alabama 38/59 California 53/38 Kansas 38/58 Kentucky 38/58 Missouri 38/58 New York 53/39 Oregon [...]

  11. JA Pruce Says:

I don’t believe Reagan ever dipped below 60.

  12. marK Says:

JA Pruce:“I don’t believe Reagan ever dipped below 60.”

Gallup shows that for three out of every four polls taken during his administration, Reagan was under 60%

  13. ConservativeRepublican Says:

I liked Ronald Reagan a lot. However, after reducing taxes, and thereby significantly increasing revenues, he did allow Congress to spend way to much money and deificit spending was bad during his administration. That is exactly what Romney was speaking of when he said he would not return to the policies of Reagan. That is exactly what they were arguing about. I posted proof a couple days ago, and nobody admitted they were wrong, they just left the conversation.

  14. ConservativeRepublican Says:

Sorry, that was for another thread!! lol

  15. Ron Says:

#11, Reagan fell to 35% in January 1983.
